Aversa Makes Demolution Easy
Kitchen Cabinet & Countertop Removal
How It Works
Kitchen Demolition Process
First we always arrive with our own dumpster to haul off all the waste. This is crucial so waste is not sitting around as the removal process occurs.
Next we start with protecting the existing flooring/rooms/furniture to prevent damage & dust as the crew begins demolition and transportation of the waste.
It's important to now check all water valves. We turn off any valves that are functional while completing the demolition process. If necessary we will turn off the main water line to protect from any major leaks.
The electrical is just as an important. We locate the breakers to temporary turn off power to the kitchen appliances and outlets.
We can then remove all the appliances to save or recycle them.
Now the fun begins, we can start with removing the countertops in sections whether the material is granite, marble, quartz or formica countertops.
Now that the cabinets are more accessible and exposed we can unscrew or demo them from the framing & drywall.
It's important to properly remove any cabinets that have existing plumbing or electrical running through with precision and detail.
If there is an island or walls that need removal once the cabinets are gone we will then remove the drywall & framing to create an open space concept.
We also remove soffits and backsplash if that is part of the demolition request.
Then we will do a water test by turning your water main back on and making sure there are no water leaks.
Finally we will shop vac, sweep and clean the area. Then we will remove any protection or plastic.
